Sources

Public records. Nothing else.

Everything we publish comes from public records.

Bid results and tabulations published by the Illinois Department of Transportation
Bid tabulations posted by county highway departments, township road districts and municipalities
Public plan holder lists, where agencies publish them
Public directories of prequalified contractors

We never use information behind logins.

We never pay anyone for non-public information.

Method

Five steps, on every job, before anything reaches your inbox.

Extract
We pull every line item from the bid document.

Recalculate
Quantity × unit price must equal each line total.
qty × unit price = line total

Reconcile
Line totals must equal the bid total read at the opening.
Σ line totals = bid total

Hold or review
Anything that doesn’t match is checked by hand or held back.

Link the source
Every job in an alert links to the original document.
